首个国际日冀破纪录 印度总理率3万人练瑜伽

中国北京举行的瑜伽日活动,场面颇为壮观。

(新德里21日综合电)21日是联合国首个国际瑜伽日,旨在传扬和谐及和平,全球各地包括都有瑜伽爱好者响应。

瑜伽起源国印度的场面极为壮观,数以万计爱好者一起参与;首都新德里有逾3万人齐练瑜伽,希望打破世界纪录。

印度总理莫迪今天说,“国际瑜伽日”象征“和平新纪元”。热爱瑜伽的莫迪带领学生、内阁官员与军人等超过3万人,上午7时在新德里一条林荫大道上展开大型户外瑜伽,挑战“半骆驼式”与“眼镜蛇式”等众多瑜伽体位。

他透露每天都练习,并大力游说联合国将6月21日这天定为国际瑜伽日。

新德里保安严密,大批警察及军人维持秩序防范突发事件。数百个印度城镇亦有类似活动。

印度外交部长斯瓦拉杰就在美国纽约,与联合国秘书长潘基文出席活动,估计有3万人会参加纽约时代广场的集体瑜伽。
